R. Kuhns
Mark R. "Bunky" Kuhns, 20, of Greensburg, formerly of Latrobe, died
unexpectedly Monday, June 4, 2007. Mark was born Sept. 4, 1986, in
Latrobe, the son of Mark E. Kuhns, of Greensburg, and Janet Starry
Kuhns, of Latrobe. He was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School,
Class of 2005. He was currently serving as a specialist in the U.S.
Army National Guard, Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 110th Infantry,
where he participated in Operation Jump Start in Yuma, Ariz. He was
also employed by Murray's Lawn Care, and was a member of the First
Christian Church, Greensburg. Mark's passion was serving in the
National Guard. In his spare time, he enjoyed Techno music, the beach,
and managed to find time to serve as host of "The Little Marko Polka"
radio show on WQTW, following in his father's footsteps. In addition
to his parents, Mark E. Kuhns and Janet (Starry) Kuhns, he is survived
by two sisters, Shauna (Hill) Myers and husband, Joshua, of Newport
News, Va., and Courtney Kuhns, at home; his paternal grandparents,
George and Judi Kuhns, of Greensburg; his maternal grandparents,
Reuben and Marian Starry, of Derry; numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins; and his pet dachshunds, Angel and Aubrey. Interment will
follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, with military honors
bestowed by members of the U.S. Army National Guard, Delta Company,
1st Battalion, 110th Infantry.
